Knit the Bridge

Knit the Bridge was a grassroots community arts project that brings together the many neighborhoods of Southwestern Pennsylvania to “yarn bomb” the iconic Andy Warhol Bridge with a huge, aesthetically stunning, fiberart installation. As an outreach project of Fiberart International 2013, Knit the Bridge celebrated the history of the city of bridges, along with the region’s exciting contemporary arts scene.

Remake Learning: Building a Regional Network

A tour of Pittsburgh’s Remake Learning Network, with stops along the way in some of the schools, museums, libraries, community centers, research institutions, and nonprofit organizations working together to remake learning for children and youth in Pittsburgh.

Seeding Change Along Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers

Since 2001, Sprout Seed Awards have helped people conserve, restore, enjoy, and celebrate life along the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers with projects like the Tireless Project, the River Trail Guide, RiverCubes, the Ohio River Lifeboat Project and The Drift.
