This summer, students at the Rankin Christian Center met artist and screenprinter Stefan Hoffmann who helped them bring a mural to life in the Center’s main gymnasium. Inspired by the gym’s basketball court itself, the large mural features images of athletes, Greek statues, and even the students of the Center themselves, all playing together within the abstracted lines of the hardwood court.

Throughout helping with each step of the project, students learned about screenprinting and art-making with Hoffmann and the resulting project is one that can be appreciated for years to come during activities and events in the Center’s gymnasium.
